Sunwell seriously!

Causality has taken a serious dive into Sunwell. Sure we have been there for 'fun' before but last week we took our first serious raid into the zone. Although the trash proved painful the result was quite a successful raid.

For the last few weeks we have been farming Hyjal/BT in an effort to prepare ourselves for Sunwell and in some ways taking things a little easy. Last week we found ourselves in the position of having killed everything Hyjal/BT had to offer and still having a raiding night left giving us time to focus on Sunwell.

Sure we had been there before but only after another raid or after the server was playing up and inevitably just played with trash. With a full night we could clear to Kalecgos and have a few attempts. While the trash proved painful again (those bloody imps) we got it under control and made our way to the first boss.

Our attempts were limited but we certainly got a feel for the level of execution required in this fight. I would have to agree with the sentiments that its the hardest fight, in execution terms, since Kael. With Hyjal likely to fall of our regular radar in a week or two I don't think it will take us long to down him. With a few raids up our sleeve before we really focus on Sunwell we could well be looking at the second boss by that time or at least be very close to a kill.

In real numbers our progression on Kalecgos saw us get the dragon and the demon to low 60% but really thats where the fun starts. With focus now shifting to Sunwell its time for us all to switch back on, read the strats, watch the videos. This first fight is one where strategy and preparedness can shave off some of the learning curve.
